How to create an Airbnb restock list after cleaning

A useful restock list is not just a pile of cleaner messages. It should combine every low-stock item, show how much needs to be bought, and make it obvious which property needs attention first.

Start with minimums

  • Set a minimum quantity for every item that creates guest complaints when it runs low
  • Use different minimums for studios, family homes, pool homes, and high-turnover units
  • Review minimums after busy seasons or when laundry timing changes
  • Avoid tracking every tiny item at first; start with the items that cause real problems

Turn cleaner notes into buy quantities

  • Needed quantity equals minimum quantity minus current usable quantity
  • Missing and damaged counts should stay visible for replacement decisions
  • Group the same item across properties so shopping is faster
  • Keep the original cleaner note attached for context

Make the list actionable

  • Sort urgent items first when the next check-in is close
  • Separate linen replacement from consumable restocking
  • Copy the list into a shopping run or send it to the operator
  • Resolve alerts only after the property has been restocked

How LinenLoop turns this into a workflow

Instead of asking cleaners to remember a spreadsheet, each property gets a no-login cleaner link. The cleaner submits usable counts, missing items, damaged items, and notes. LinenLoop compares those counts to your minimums and creates restock alerts for the host dashboard.
