Airbnb linen inventory checklist

Use this checklist to decide what each property should always have on hand, what the cleaner should count after each turnover, and when the host needs to restock before the next guest arrives.

Core linen items to track

  • Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and pool towels
  • Flat sheets, fitted sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, and spare sets
  • Mattress protectors, pillow protectors, blankets, and throws
  • Stained, missing, or damaged linens that need replacement

Suggested minimums

  • Studio or one-bedroom: 2-3 full linen turns per bed
  • Family homes: extra towels for maximum guest count plus one reserve set
  • High-turnover units: enough stock for back-to-back stays before laundry returns
  • Pool or beach homes: separate pool towel minimums so bath towels do not disappear

Cleaner handoff

  • Count usable stock left after cleaning
  • Record missing or damaged items separately
  • Add a short note when laundry is off-site or delayed
  • Submit the check before leaving the property

How LinenLoop turns this into a workflow

Instead of asking cleaners to remember a spreadsheet, each property gets a no-login cleaner link. The cleaner submits usable counts, missing items, damaged items, and notes. LinenLoop compares those counts to your minimums and creates restock alerts for the host dashboard.
